PVE wants to help grow the game by helping develop quality coaches. As such, we are always available as a resource to ask questions free of charge. For those coaches who would like to grow through a more purposeful process, we offer paid consultations in specific areas.

Develop your coaching philosophy
Developing and implementing a meaningful coaching philosophy (along with it’s evolution over time) is the basis of finding success as a coach. A well developed coaching philosophy allows you to develop a clear blueprint for how you approach your decision making process. This blueprint then allows you to make consistent, well reasoned decisions regardless of the situation.
Our process for developing your coaching philosophy will help you do the following:
Identify your fundamental values as a coach.
Develop principles that will guide future actions and decisions as a coach.
Create a definition of success for you as a coach to work towards based on your values, priorities, and principles.
Determine the type of leadership style you wish to grow into as a coach.
Develop your coaching philosophy. A statement that will be the culmination of your values, principles, and priorities and set a path for who you want to be as a coach. This statement will be a reference for you as you face different challenges as a coach.
develop your program’s BluePrint
Just like every coach needs a coaching philosophy, every program needs a blueprint to achieving success. We will take you through a process to develop the values, mission, and vision that are specific to you and your program. From there we will assist you in developing the goals and action steps necessary to achieving the success you envision over time.
While building and maintaining a program’s success is a constant process, we see our ability to help in three distinct areas.
Setting the groundwork. Here we help you develop the foundation for your program; the values, mission and long term vision that will drive all future decisions.
Evaluating the current state of the program, and identifying meaningful goals that can be accomplished within the course of the next year.
Developing the action plan necessary to drive success
develop skills, systems and practice planning
When it comes to improving your players and getting the most out of them on the court, the ability to teach skills and develop systems is key. Most coaches feel more comfortable with some aspects of the game than others. Whether you feel at home training setters and developing an offense, or whether your passion is with middle blockers and blocking schemes, many times there is an area of the game that a coach simply doesn’t feel as knowledgeable or comfortable with.
Our coaches can help you in three specific areas based on your needs:
Increase your knowledge and comfort with regards to specific skills, positions, and systems.
Help you identify that right systems, and how to teach them, based on your team’s personnel.
Improve your ability to run highly effective practices by maximizing time, and improving teaching techniques.
